beachbody on demand user interface

Beachbody

Beachbody On Demand was evolving beyond streaming.
The opportunity was to transform passive viewing into an interactive performance system.

We designed a connected fitness experience that combined streaming video, real-time progress tracking, behavioral reinforcement, and live trainer interaction within a unified digital interface.

The platform supported athletes in motion — physically fatigued, emotionally driven, and goal-focused — providing at-a-glance insight, longitudinal performance tracking, and seamless coach continuity.

The product was not just about content consumption.
It was about sustained interaction between athlete, coach, brand, and data.

Two realities shaped the redesign.

Athletes were completing workouts without meaningful reflection or visible progress over time.

At the same time, digital fitness was moving from stationary viewing to mobile, responsive, go-anywhere interaction. The interface needed to function fluidly across motion, fatigue, and physical exertion.

The solution required rethinking fitness not as video playback, but as embodied interaction.

I led experience architecture and interaction design across the full application, defining the system patterns that enabled motion-based navigation, performance feedback loops, and trainer-athlete continuity.
